Trucking HR Canada (May 2013)
This report addresses two important issues for the renewal of the trucking industry’s workforce:
(1) It reviews youth attitudes towards work in the trucking industry and how trucking companies can engage young people.
(2) It explores the feasibility of developing and implementing a school-to-work program for the trucking industry, including the key considerations for negotiating industry-education partnerships agreements.

The Canadian Trucking Alliance, a federation of the provincial trucking associations, representing over 4,500 motor carriers has formed a Blue Ribbon Task Force on the Driver Shortage to try and provide leadership in the daunting task of developing a coherent direction for moving forward on the issue.
