Wage growth in the trucking and other industries has been strongest in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and
Newfoundland and Labrador. In the for-hire industry.

Weekly wages topped $1,200 in Alberta in 2011, which is in contrast to the average weekly wage of $800 or less in most of the Eastern provinces.
